2010 classifications
We have a variety of rooms at Sands. Most are suites with 2 sleeping areas, but we also have some doubles, triples and single rooms. The style is modern not country house.

Views vary; some rooms have sea views, some country, some of the outdoor pool and some with restricted view. We will give you the room with the best view available at the time of booking.

We always try to let you know the pluses and minuses of any particular room. We have an honesty policy Link 9 which tells you

We have four qualities of room:
STANDARD where childrens beds are in the same room
COMFORT  suites with separate sleeping area for children
CONTEMPORARY  suites with separate sleeping area for children plus extra facilities
APARTMENT  2 or 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small lounge plus extra facilities

We have 3 main types of room layout:
TYPE A Interconnecting suite
TYPE B Pool suite
TYPE C Apartment suite
TYPE M Other rooms

Possible combinations:
TYPE A Interconnecting suite. Available in Comfort or Contemporary quality.
TYPE B Pool suite. Available only in Comfort quality.
TYPE C Apartment suite. Available only in Apartment quality.
TYPE M Other rooms incl doubles triples and singles

STANDARD
These rooms are" type M " layout. Children share the room. Some are also single or triple rooms.
These rooms have TV, telephone, tea making facilities and mini fridge.

COMFORT
These rooms can be "type B" layout Pool Suites
Or
"Type M" double, triple, single and family interconnecting rooms.
Or
These rooms are "type A" layout family suites and are more spacious

These rooms have a TV in each room, telephone, tea making facilities, DVD and mini fridge. They have a variety of room shapes and views. Most do not have doors between sleeping areas.

CONTEMPORARY
These rooms are "type A" layout family suites.
These rooms have a TV in each sleeping area, DVD player, Sony Playstation, free broadband access, telephone, tea making facilities and mini fridge. They are sea facing and on the ground floor have doors between the bedrooms but no sea view. Upper floors have sea view but no doors between sleeping areas.

APARTMENT
These are "Type C" shape suites
They have 2 bedrooms and a lounge.
These rooms have a TV in each sleeping area, DVD player, Sony Playstation, telephone, tea making facilities, microwave and mini fridge. They are sea facing.

FURNISHINGS AND FITTINGS SAME AS COMFORT BUT WITH LOUNGE

VIEWS
Every room has a differing view, some are ocean views, some country and some restricted. We offer the best view available at the time of booking.

Please note there is no door between the sleeping areas other than in ground floor contemporary suites.
